It is really a very good decision to join in army

Recently a Notification was released regarding the posting of Indian Army for the technical branch

First you have to clear the examination after clearing this you will be having a SSB interview in Bangalore or any other place after getting selected in this university you will be given a three year full term training with the stipend of Rs.21000 PM

So after completing your 4 years training period you will be selected in to some cadres and from then on your career will get started with good salary and facilities

INDIAN ARMY EXAM FOR TECHNICAL STUDENT ON JULY 2011

Pay Scale: Before the completion of the period of training, candidates will be given a stipend of Rs. 21000 per month. However, after the completion of the training, officers will be commissioned as Lt and entitled to the payband of Rs. 15600-39100 with DA at present and other benefits.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates who are in the final year of Engineering degree and who are qualified graduates of the degree course in engineering are eligible to apply. Candidates (who are in final year of Engineering degree) are required to produce the engineering degree within 12 weeks from the date of commencement of training.

No. of posts: Total 65 posts are available in the different departments of the Indian Army.

You can join the IMA as a officer level.

As you said that you want to apply in tech field then you should apply for the TGC(Engg.) and SSC(Tech.) post.

Entrance exam for these occur twice a year and advertisment coming in april and oct.
