Date of Examination is last week of may 2011.
Application Forms are available from 29.3.2011.
Last date for receipt of completed forms : 26.04.2011

M.B.A 29.5.2010 (Saturday) 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon
M.C.A 29.5.2010 (Saturday) 02.30 p.m. to 04.30 p.m.
M.E./M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan. 30.5.2010 (Sunday) 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon

The Anna University (Chennai) will conduct the 2011 edition of the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET 2011) on May 29 and 30, 2011.


Availability of Application forms:
The form can also be obtained by post by sending a Demand Draft along with the request for form.Candidates can also download the form online through the website www.annauniv.edu. There will be a common form for all the programmes and candidates who want to appear for more than one programme has to pay additional examination fees for every programme

The completed application (registered through Internet) should reach The Secretary, TANCET, Centre for Entrance Examinations, Anna University Chennai, Chennai 600 025 on or before 26.04.2010, by 5.30 p.m. The Applications received after the due date and time will not be considered at any cost.

This year notification till now not came,but last year TANCET 2010 last date was APRIL 26th and exam was shecdule to 29th and 30th of MAY so you can expect

the same this year and may be form available one month before the submission so it must be MARCH2011......
Till now notification not came for this year but last year it was december i think it will be going to come....so get update time to time......

Last date for registration is 25th April, 2011.

TANCET 2011 ELIGIBILITY

1. MBA: A pass in any Degree with 10 + 2 + 3/4 years pattern or a pass in any Degree with 10 + 3 (Diploma) + 3 years pattern.

2. MCA: A pass in any degree with 10 + 2 + 3/4 years pattern with Mathematics at + 2 level or Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subjects at the degree level or a pass in 10 + 3 (Diploma) + 3 years pattern with Mathematics at Diploma level or Mathematics / Statistics as one of the subjects at the degree level.

3. M.E./M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan.: Details of the eligibility conditions will available in the website: www.annauniv.edu check out Eligibility Qualifications for admission to M.E./M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan degree programmes in Anna Universities

Those who are appearing for final year / semester examination of the above qualifying degree in April / May 2011 can also apply for TANCET 2011.
TANCET 2011 APPLICATION PROCESS

Application Form is common for all the three entrance tests. Candidates have to submit only one application. The candidates have to pay a fee of Rs.300/- (Rs.150/- for SC / ST Candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu on production of a copy of Permanent Community Certificate) as entrance test fee for any one of the Programmes either (1) M.B.A. or (2) M.C.A. or (3) M.E./M.Tech./M.Arch./ M.Plan.

If a candidate desires to appear for more than one programme, for every additional programme, he / she has to pay Rs.300/- (Rs.150/- for SC/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu) along with the filled-in application.
SPOT REGISTRATION: Hall Tickets will be issued to the candidates who come in person to the following Co-ordinating Centres with cash or D.D. for the required amount towards Entrance Test fee and a copy of 10th Std. Mark Sheet.

I got 15.250 points in mca entrance. Is there any chance to join anna university?

The forms will be available in the month of
APRIL

The most important part of it is that if you go walk in for the submission of he form then you can get the admit card on the same day.

They will take your photo and will print on the admit card and it will be in your hand within 30 minutes.

The last date will proceed till may 3rd week.

TANCET Stands for Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test and this examination is conducted by Anna University once in a year for admission to MBA , MCA , M.Tech , M.E programmes . To apply for these PG programmes , the candidate need to completed their graduate degree (10+2+3 OR 10+2+4) from a recognized University or equivalent qualification .

The issue of TANCET application forms will be in the month of Feb or March in the official website of Anna University as well as employment news paper also .
Recently Anna University has announced the TANCET Exam dates .

The Exam Dates are ::
