DATE:
Date of JIPMER MBBS Exam 2011 will be held on 1st week of June 2011.
Apply:
you can take the application form from State Bank of India JIPMER campus
or through post by sending mony-order and reuest of application form
or you can apply online on website www.jipmer.edu.in.

JIPMER or the Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research is located in Puducherry and is the oldest medical institute in India. It conducts a separate entrance test for admission to its MBBS course.

How to apply:

Admissions to MMBS are made every year. Notification for applications will be announced around February in all major news papers in India.It will also be available in their website. Application form and prospectus will be available in JIPMER and can be obtained in person or by post by paying the prescribed fee in cash or by bank demand draft.

Educational Eligibility:

Candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Botany/Zoology with at least 50% aggregate marks in PCB for unreserved category (40% for SC/ST/OBC and a pass in English). Those who are appearing for class 12th exams in 2011 can also apply.

Fee:

Application form are available for Rs 850/- (UR/OBC/P-UR/P-OBC) or Rs 500/- (SC/ST/P-SC) at state bank of India and JIPMER campus branch.

The forms are expected to be made available in this month from State Bank of India, JIPMER Campus. Still they are not yet available.

The form can also be obtained by post from JIPMER by sending a Money Order along with the request for form. Candidates can also apply online through the website.

JIPMER uses paper based test administration (MCQ) for the merit listing the
candidates for the MBBS admission.
Important Date For Jipmer Exam:
1. Date of sale of application form 6/3/2011 to 25/4/2011.
2. Closing date of receipt of application form is 25/4/2011 at 4:30 PM.
3. Date of examination 5/6/2011 (10 am to 12:30 pm)
Application:
Application cum prospectus for MBBS course 2011 session can be obtained by one of the following method.
1. From the counter of state bank of India, JIPMER campus from 6/3/2011 to 25/4/2011.
2. Postal request to professor academic to JIPMER from 6/3/2011 to 18/4/2011 accompanied by a Demand Draft of Rs. 1000/ for UR/OBC and Rs. 650 for SC/ST drawn in the name of "Account Officer, JIPMER" payable at Pondicherry.
3. You can apply online through JIPMER website from 6/3/2011 to 18/4/2011. However online applicants have to send the printout with necessary enclosures so as to reach on or before 25/4/2011.
