Are degree holder from UGC approved collage eligible for MPSC/UPSC exams?

civil engineering degree from CMJ university (although it is only UGC approved) is eligible for MPSC & UPSC examination?

Are degree holders from CMJ university is applicable for Govt. jobs like BHEL, BSNL, NTPC,NHPC, BEL etc.... Please reply

Yes Degree from a UGC approved College is enough to make you eligible for UPSC/MPSC examination.

For checking whether your Colleges or University is UGC approved you have to visit the UGC official website.

So if you have completed your Graduation then you can apply for the IAS or any state level examination.

Age Limit:

The age must be between 21 to 30 years if you are a General category candidate. Those who belong to reserved categories will get age relaxation.

SC/ST Category - 5 years relaxation

OBC Category - 3 years relaxation

Exam Pattern:

-Preliminary Examination

-Mains Examination

-Interview

You have to get top marks in above stages then only you will be considered for the required post.

These examination have also set limit in attempts. General and OBC have 4 and 7 attempts allowed. For SC/ST there is no such limit in attempts.
