About CMAT::

• CMAT i.e. Common Management Admission test. It is conducted by AICTE i.e. All India Council for Technical Education and its conducted national wide which is for MBA Admission. AICTE is a national level Apex advisory body which is for technical education in India.
• AICTE is conducting this exam to reduce the physical, mental and financial stress as students are attending multiple examiantions. There are more than ThirtyFive hundred B Schools are there who accepts CMAT score. Some of the premier schools are JBIMS, Sydenham, KJ Somaiya, IMT and GIM.

Eligibility Criteria::

• GE: Graduation done from any specialization with 50% marks.
• Reserved category: 45%
• Final year students are also eligible to write the exam.

Syllabus::

• Pattern of the exam is consists of four sections which includes Quant & Data interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness.

• Each section consists of 25 questions. The duration of the exam i.e. of CMAT exam is 3 hrs
• For General Category graduates from any discipline, 50% of marks is required (45% for reserved category students). Final year students of Graduate Courses can also apply.
• Each section carries 100 marks i.e. Each question carries 4 marks each.

CNET stands for common management admission test. it is national level management test, conducted by all india council for technical education, national level apex advisory body which is vested with the statutory authority for technical education in India.

CMAT is computer based test which will be conducted twice a year. which candidate is eligible to appear in both exams and the better of two scores will be used for the admission for each academic year.

CMAT Syllabus:

Quantitative techniques and data interpretation : 25qs - 100 marks

Logical reasoning : 25qs - 100 marks

Language comprehension : 25qs - 100 marks

General awareness : 25qs - 100 marks

There shall be negative marking for wrong answer, for each wrong answer 1 mark shall be deducted.

There is no age restriction appearing in CMAT.

COMMON MANAGEMENT ADMISSION TEST (CMAT) conducted by AICTE from 19th-22nd February 2015. AICTE will conduct the CMAT test for admission to the colleges that offers MBA course and for those which run post graduate diploma in management and almost all colleges accept CMAT score

AICTE wll be conducting CMAT two times in a year . the candidates are given two times opportunity to appear in this exam that is in the month of : February and September .

ELIGIBILITY FOR THIS TEST :

> > Graduate with 50% in any discipline
> > Final year student of graduation can apply for this course .

FEES DETAILS :

> > General / OBC : Rs 1400 + bank charges as applicable

> > SC/ST : 700 + bank charges as applicable

Candidates interested in management programmes can sit for CMAT or Common Management Admission Test which is an national level admission test and is conducted by AICTE. Just like MAT, CMAT is also conducted for more than one time every year in the month of February and September.

It is fully a computer based test and basically multiple choice questions will be asked where you have to select the right answer by clicking on it. You can sit for this exam both the times in a year but only the result featuring your highest score will be counted.

The basic eligibility criteria for this exam is a bachelor's degree of minimum 3 years duration in any discipline of your choice. But that is not all. In addition to that you also have to ensure 50% of marks at graduation level. There is a 5% relaxation for the reserved category candidate.

Exam Pattern:-

• Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation-100 marks
• Logical Reasoning-100 marks
• Language Comprehension-100 marks
• General Awareness-100 marks

From each section a total of 25 questions will be asked. The total duration of the exam is 180 minutes and 4 marks has been allotted for each correct answer. However there is negative marking too and for each wrong answer 1 mark will be deducted from your total score.

CMAT stands for the Common Management Admission Test. This exam is conducted by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) twice time in a year.

CMAT is generally conducted for those candidates who want to take admission in the MBA (Master in Business Administration) course.

After completing a graduation degree in any discipline from the recognized university one can apply for this exam. Candidates should have secured at least 50% in their graduation. While for SC/ST category it should be minimum 45%.

There is no any attempt limit as well as no age limit.

Course Details:

Question paper consist four section 1). Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation, 2). General Awareness, 3). Language comprehension and 4). Logical reasoning.

Each section has 25 questions and each question consist 4 marks so, the total marks would be 400. Negative marking is also there i.e., -1 mark for every wrong answers.
