The Director General of Civil Aviation, New Delhi conducts the written examination for CPL at Chennai, Mumbai, Calcutta and New Delhi every three months commencing January of every year.
Eligibility criteria for Commercial Pilot License (CPL) :- -The candidate should have passed 12th with at least 60% marks in aggregate with Mathematics and Physics. -The candidate age should be 18-30 years . -The candidate must have PPL with at least flying experience of 3 years. -The candidate must have 200 flying hours within a period of 5 years. The student needs to pass in the following subjects for admission to CPL: 1. Air Regulation. 2. Air Navigation 3. Aviation Meteorology 4. Aircraft & Engines (General & Specific) 5. Radio Telephone (Oral & Practical) conducted by Wireless and Planning Co-ordination Wing, New Delhi. Fee Structure : Fee from Trainee Pilots : Rs.12,000/- per hour Fee from Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Trainees : Rs.4000/- per Month Renewal / Conversion of Licenses : Rs.12,000/- per hour for pilots other than ex-trainees of the academy. |
