SET stands for the State Eligibility Test. This exam is generally conducted for the Lectureship post by the state government of India.

Eligibility for SET:
Candidates must have completed their Masters degree or Post Graduation degree in their own interested filed from the UGC (University Grant Commission) recognized university.

Candidates must have secured at least 55% in their post graduation. For SC/ST/PH category candidates it should be at least 50% marks without rounding off.

Final year candidates who are waiting for their results are also eligible for SET exam.

There is no any upper age restriction.

Candidates can choose the subjects for SET exam of their post graduation only.

SET stands for State Eligibility Test. If you are Interested to become Lecturer in some top Colleges, then you have to cracked the NET/SET Examination.

You should be compete your master degree in any recognized university.

Your master degree with 55 % of marks for General and OBC candidates . SC / ST candidates 50 % of marks.

You are age limit between 18 to 28 years.
