I have completed my Diploma in mechanical engineering. Is the Diploma recognised and valid by AICTE and UGC ?

The diploma courses are certificates courses are not specifically recognised by the UGC
The courses are recognised by the governing council or statutory council
Whereas the AICTE has developed some extra curricular models that help with academic and industry experts with various diploma courses to get into courses like engineering ,but it is still not fully recognised
