Do I need to appear for exam for changing from GIC to LIC?

Sir, I had written GIC (General Insurance Corporation) exam few months back and, now I would like to change my insurance company from GIC to LIC (Life Insurance Corporation). Is this possible with the GIC exam or again I will have to write an exam for LIC? Please, clarify.

You would need to give the all india level insurance examination to join Life Insurance corporation.
General Insurance corporation and life insurance corporation are two different government insurance companies. There is no lateral or horizontal movements between the two.
You would need to give a separate exam to join LIC.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
