Does IGNOU also offers B.Ed? Is it approved by NCERT? If yes, then what is the eligibility criteria and application procedure? What is the admission charges and fees structure of B.Ed offered from IGNOU?

Yes, IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University) do offer B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) degree course of two years.

Further, to pursue the same degree course from IGNOU, you are required to have completed your graduation degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks from a recognised university. Marks relaxation of 5% in the qualifying examination is allowed in the case of candidates from reserved category and PH category. Candidates having equivalent degree approved by NCTE are also eligible.

Also, for admission in the same university to pursue B.Ed. degree course, you need to apply and qualify B.Ed admission test held by IGNOU. Also, the overall course fee to pursue the same degree is Rs 50,000.
