Yes, MBA do require the approval of All India Council for Technical Education.

Sikkim Manipal University is not recognized by the AICTE.
The University is only recognized by the following regulatory bodies:

Distance Council of Education
University Grant Commission
Joint council of UGC, AICTE, DEC.

Dear sir
i am pursuing the MBA from SMU ,kindly suggest me this degree are valied or not, because some bodies ask me SMU not approved by AICTE.

Even Im planning to take MBA course from SMU. When I called them on the other day at 08204297141, I was told that SMU was jointly recognised by UGC & AICTE. For more clarification contact them at the given number.

I am planning to join for executive MBA course at Symbiosis college. I was told the Executive MBA course offered by SCMHRD is offered under the umbrella of Symbiosis International University which is a UGC approved university. It does not require AICTE approval. is it true?
