Hello sir, I am preparing for NEET exam and I want to know whether Veerashaiva/ Lingayat comes under the central list of OBC?

Yes the Veerashaiva or Lingayat comes under the central list of OBC. Here i am attaching the list of Central Government of Karnataka of Caste and Sub Cast as under, you can find that the Veerashaiva or Lingayat come under the central list of OBC.

Sir, I'm from Maharashtra State, preparing for gate exam from which we will take admission for IIT/NIT college (for MTech.). The lingayat Wani Cate is in OBC list of central govt.list. can I take admission for this through OBC ???????

NoVeerashiva lingayats are not listed in central list of Backward class (OBC). They are socially, economically and politically dominant community. Hence their long pending request to include in OBC is rejected

No. Veershiva lingayats are not listed in OBC. They are socially, politically economically strong community in India. Their inclusion plea was rejected by central government.

No, Veerashiva lingayats are currently under OC, they are politically, socially and economically strong community in india. Their request for inclusion in OBC was rejected by central government.

No, Veershaiva Lingayat castes does not come under OBC. It is a long pending request with Government of India.
