Eligibility and age criteria for SSC CGL 2017
I am a BBA 5th sem. student and will get my final BBA degree in mid of August 2017. So will I be eligible to fill up the SSC CGL 2017 form or not?
My dob is 18-08-1997 |

CGL stands for Combined Graduate Level Exam. So you must have qualified graduation in any discipline to write SSC CGL exam. Currently the age limit to write SSC CGL 2016 is 18-27 years. SSC has updated the age limit for SSC CGL 2017. The new age limit to write SSC CGL 2017 will be 20 years to 30 years. The new age limit will be effective from 2017 exam.

SSC CGL stands for Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level examination. The eligibility criteria for this examination:
1. You must have done bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Final year candidates of bachelor's degree can also apply for this examination. 2. The age limit for examination is 18-27 years. Upper age relaxation applicable to candidates of reserved category. You can apply for SSC CGL examination that will be conducted in 2017. |

No, you can't apply for SSC CGL exam 2017. It is necessary to obtain the degree by 01.01.2017 to appear for SSC CGL 2017 exam. Degree obtained after this date will not be valid for SSC CGL 2017.
Eligibility criteria for SSC CGL Exam :- -The candidate must be an Indian. -The candidate must have completed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. -The candidate age limit to apply for the exam is from 18 years to 27 years.There is age relaxation for reserved category as per the norms of government rules. -Selection process involves of following stages : Written Objective type Examination (Tier 1) Written Conventional type Examination (Tier 2) Interview. |

See, there is a tragedy with you, let me explain.
According to your age, you are valid for the exam. The exam requires minimum of 18 years and by next year you will be 19 complete before the exam. But there is also one more clause. For applying, you have to get your degree before 1st January of the year in which you are applying for the CGL exam. Since you will get your graduation degree in august, so unfortunately you are not eligible. But, i would advise you to continue your preparation as if you are eligible and do give an exam. If you qualify you will get an immense boost of confidence and if you couldn't, you will gain experience. |

You are eligible to apply for SSC CGL as your age is within the limit of age criteria.
SSC CGL Eligibility Education Qualification Compiler & Statistical Investigator Bachelor's Degree with Economics/Statistics or Maths as one of the compulsory subject. Assistant Posts Graduation In any discipline with computer proficiency. Other Posts You should have passed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. Age Criteria - Your age should be between 18 to 27 years of the examination year. For Statistical Investigator , Age should be below 26 years. For CBI Posts , Age should be between 20 to 27 years of the examination year. - Relaxation applicable 3 years for OBC , 5 years for SC/ST & 10 years for PH candidates. Physical Fitness Male Height : Minimum 157.5 Cms Chest : 81 Cms with 5 cms expansion Female Height : Minimum 152 Cms Weight : Minimum 48 Kgs Physics Tests Male Walking : 1600 Meters In 15 Mins. Cycling : 8 Kms In 30 Mins. Female Walking : 1000 Meters In 15 Mins. Cycling : 3 Kms In 25 Mins. |

SSC CGL stands for Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduation Level and the same entrance examination is held for appointment of personnel in different government offices.
* * The basis qualification required for appearing in the same examination are as here under :- --> You must have the nationality of India with your age lying within 18 years to 27 years. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates as per the government norms. --> You must have either completed your graduation degree course or must be in the final year same from a recognized university. So being a final year student of BBA ( Bachelor of Business Administration ) degree course and being around 20 years old you are eligible for the same examination. Qualification :- Candidate must have done graduation in any stream from a recognised University Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in SSC, CGL written exam. Age limit:- Candidates age must be between 18 to 27 years old to be eligible for this examination. The minimum % for General Category is 50% and 45% for SC /ST Categories. |

Candidate must have done graduation in any discipline from recognised university with at least 50% marks. Age limit should be in between 18 to 27 years. A candidate must have citizenship of India. Candidates will be selected on the basis of entrance exam SSC CGL. |

Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level examination is conducted every year. Graduates in any discipline are eligible to apply for this examination. Even those who are pursuing final year of graduation can apply for SSC CGL examination. From 2016, this examination will be conducted online and will of one hour duration only.
Final year candidates of bachelor of business Administration are eligible to apply for SSC CGL examination. You must be minimum of 18 years to apply for this examination. |
