Re: Eligibility to appear for CLAT for a High School candidate of Nepal?
CLAT stands for Common Law Admission Test.
It is conducted generally in month of May for admission in National Law Universities in India. A candidate who has completed his higher secondary certificate examination with more than 45% marks with any subject from any recognized board is eligible to appear in this examination. There is no upper age limit for appearing. A citizen of India, Nepal, Bhutan and Tibetan refugee who came to India for survival before 1st Jan 1962 are eligible to appear in CLAT. You can appear in CLAT examination being a resident of Nepal. Online application for CLAT starts in first week of January and ends in last week of same month in the year of examination. Application fee for general and OBC is Rs 4000 and that for SC/ST is Rs 3500. |
