Hello everyone, my sister has completed her Intermediate. She wants to apply for NDA exam. I would like to know about the eligibility criteria to apply for this exam. Please let me know about the eligibility criteria asap.

NDA ( National Defence Academy ) is conducted by UPSC twice in a year. The examination is conducted for recruitment as an officer in defence service.

The required eligibility to appear in examination is that :-

Candidate must have passed or pursuing in 12th from a recognised board.

The age limit is 16.5-19.5 years.

Only male candidates are eligible.

So, girls are not eligible to appear in examination but if she is interested in joining defence service she will be eligible to join the service after graduation through CDS entry.

As far as you are concerned about eligibility criteria to apply for NDA entrance examination for female candidates then for your information I would like to let you know that only unmarried Indian male candidates are eligible for appearing in the same examination and therefore there is no possibility of joining NDA being a female candidate.
