I have completed my 12th (Intermediate) from Arts stream. Now, am I eligible to apply for Group "Y" of Indian Air Force? If not, then what should I do to become eligible?

--> The minimum eligibility criteria required to apply for Indian Air force Airmen Group Y recruitment are as below :-

* You must be an unmarried Indian male candidate.

* Your age must lie within 17 years to 21 years.

* You must have completed your Class 12th in any discipline with at least 50% marks overall from a recognised board. Also, you must have managed at least 50% marks in English.

* You must hold the physical fitness as per the service requirement norms.

So, having completed your Class 12th with Arts stream, you are eligible for Airmen group Y recruitment on the educational requirement ground if your overall aggregate and marks in English paper in your Class 12th is at least 50%.
