Eligibility to apply for IAS exam for Post Basic
Sir/Madam, recently I have completed my Post Basic BSc(Nursing) course from PGIMER, Chandigarh. Am I eligible for applying in IAS exam. I want to become an IAS Officer. So, I would like to know about the eligibility for me.

Yes, candidates passed bachelor degree in any discipline are eligible to appear for Civil Service Examination.
Candidates after qualifying in Civil Service Examination will become eligible for recruitment as an I.A.S Officer. The examination is conducted in three stages. The age limit is 21-32 years. For more information visit at www.upsc.gov.in. |

I.A.S is Indian Administrative Service. Civil Service Examination is conducted by UPSC every year for recruitment as an I.A.S, I.P.S, I.F.S etc.
The eligibility to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree in any discipline. Candidates in final year are also eligible to appear for examination. So, you need to prepare for the three stages of examination and qualify in all stages of examination for final selection. To get more information visit at www.upsc.gov.in. |

To become an I.A.S officer, you have to appear and qualify for Civil Service Examination and the eligibility to appear for the examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree in any discipline.
The age limit is 21-32 years. There is relaxation for reserved category. So, you are eligibility to appear in the examination after bachelor degree in nursing. |
