Eligibility to apply for Lower Division Clerk (LDC) examination?


What is the eligibility criteria like educational requirements to apply for Lower Division Clerk (LDC) examination? When and how should I apply? Can you also share some past years solved papers?

The required eligibility to appear for LDC is that :-

Candidate must have passed 12th from a recognised board.

Candidate must have passed 18 years of the age.

The examination is conducted by SSC and state SSC for the recruitment.

The eligibility to appear for the LDC examination is that :-

Candidate must have passed 12th from a recognised board. Candidate's age must be not less than 18 years.

Entrance examination is conducted in various stages and after qualifying in all the stages will become eligible for final selection.

Eligibility to apply for Lower Division Clerk (LDC) examination is mentioned below:-

—> You should have passed 12th standard or an equivalent examination from a recognised board and you should have typing speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi.

—> You should be in the age range of 18 to 28 years. Upper age relaxation is applicable to reserved category candidates as per government rules.

--> The minimum qualifications required to apply for Lower Division Clerk recruitment examination (i.e; SSC CHSL (Staff Selection Commission Combined Higher Secondary School Level) examination or other state SSC LDC recruitment examination) are as below :-

* You must hold the citizenship of India.

* Your age must lie within 18 years to 27 years. Age relaxation is allowed for reserved category candidates as per the government norms. Further, the age criteria to apply different state SSC examinations might vary.

* You must have completed your higher secondary school degree course i.e; Class 12th or equivalent from a recognised board of education.

The eligibility to apply for Lower Division Clerk recruitment is given as below:

1. You must have done 12th from a recognized board. Boarding appearing candidates can also apply for SSC CHSL exam.

2. The age limit is 18-27 years.

OBC and SC/ST candidates are eligible for 3 years and five years upper age relaxation.

Lower Division Clerks are recruited through SSC CHSL exam. Staff Selection Commission conducts Combined Higher Secondary Level exam for LDC, DEO etc. The eligibility criteria for SSC CHSL LDC is:

>>Candidate must have minimum academic qualification of 12th passed from a recognized board.

>>The age criteria is 18-27 years.

There are three Tiers for final selection of LDC.

LDC educational qualification-

The candidate must have passed his 12th class or equivalent from a recognised board or university.

Should have English typing speed on the computer @ 35 words per minute.

Age must be in between 18 to 27 years.

You have to check the notification for recruitment of LDC all over the India in the employment news papers.

LDC eligibility criteria-

-a candidate should have passed 12th class or equivalent from a recognised board.

-should have English typing speed on the computer @ 35 words per minute or Hindi typing speed on computer @ 30 words per minute.

Age limit should be in between 18 to 27 years however there is relaxation in upper age for reserved categories.

In order to get notified for the vacancies of LDC ,you must subscribe to the employment newspaper or government job alert.com.
