Eligibility to apply for Merchant Navy for a candidate having 6/9 vision with glasses?
Hello everyone, my vision is 6/9 with glasses. I want to apply for Merchant Navy. I don't know that whether I am eligible or not for applying in Merchant Navy. Kindly let me know about my eligibility asap.

In order to join Merchant navy, candidate must have normal vision 6/6 in both eyes and medically fit hearing capabilities.
Should hold relevant fitness certificate Candidates applying for any Merchant navy course must meet medical fitness requirements. They must have normal vision (6/6) in each eye separately. Thus , you are not eligible to apply. |
