I have done MA in Music Vocal and also qualified the NET examination. Can I apply for the post of Music Teacher in either Navodaya or KVS as I have also Sangeet Visharad in Vocal and instrumental both from Parachin Kala Kendra Chadigrah and also want to know whether should I go for M.Phil or not?

Yes, You are eligible. KVS and Navodaya publish recruitment notification for both Post graduate teacher and Trained graduate teacher.
The criterias are :
Age limit for PGT 40 years, TGT 35 years
Candidates must have graduation degree on corresponding subject for applying TGT. And to apply for PGT also need a Masters degree on corresponding subject.
Candidates must have completed B.ed or equivalent course from a recognised board or University.
Special B.ed candidates are not allowed for PGT.

Student who have done Sangeet visharad from pracheen kala kendra, chandigarh can be eligible for kvs music teacher?
