Assistant Commandant in CISF exam conducted by UPSC ( Union Public Service Commission ).

Eligibility for Assistant Commandant in CISF are as follows: -

1. Both Male and Female candidates are eligible for assistant commandant in CISF exam.

2. Age Limit - 20 years to 25 years

3. Educational Qualification : Degree from a recognised institute / university or equivalent.

4. Nationality - Indian

5. Exam Date not declared yet.

salary - PAY SCALE 15600-39100 (GRADE PAY 5400), INITIAL BASIC 21000/- + ALLOWANCE AS PER CENTRAL GOVT. RULES.

When will it's exam be held? - IN THE MONTH OF OCTOBER EVERY YEAR THROUGH UPSC (VISIT UPSC SITE CPO ASSISTANT COMMANDANT)

Hi Please let me know the dates around when the assistant commandant exam held on 9th October is expected to be declared.

CISF Asst cmdt is a gazetted officer enjoying lots of power and amenties(Jeep, food, accommodation, orderlies). I don't know the salary in SBI but comparing these two are like comparing apples to oranges. In CISF, you are supposed on duty always whereas in private job you are not. Everything depends on your aptitude, ambitions energy and personality. Also be prepared to be engaged in troubled areas, deal with violent protests, court cases et all.

Male n female graduates from any recognised university can apply for the post. Exam is conducted by UPSC combined with post of AC for all paramilitary forces.
age between 21 to 25 yrs with relaxation for obc sc n st. candidates who clear written exam will be called for physical efficiency test which include 100m run in 16s n 800m run in 3.15min high jump of 1.05m n long jump of 3.5m.
salary is 15600 (bp) + 5400 (gp) + DA + other allowances like HRA TPT etc as eligible.
