I have done my graduation in BA program with the subject combination of English and linguistics...here I want to know that,is am I eligible to choose English as my teaching subject in b.ed.?

Eligibility:-

For BA In Linguistics ,you must have a 12th degree or it's equivalent with minimum 50%marks from a recognized university.

Duration of English Linguistics is 3 years.

For BA In English,you must have a 12th degree with minimum 50%marks from a recognized university.

Duration of BA English is also 3 years.

Eligibility for BA English and Linguistics:-

To get admission in BA English and Linguistics, candidates should have passed class 12th form is recognised board in any stream with a minimum of 50% marks.

The minimum age limit is 17 years.

Admission process:-
12th based or entrance based.

°°° Of course, you can choose English as your teaching subject if you are pursuing Bachelor of education 2 years degree course.
In bachelor of education to use degree course you have to choose two teaching subjects so, as per your choice you can choose the subject which you have started in your graduation.
You can also ask from your teachers that which combination will be better for your future to choose teaching subjects.

With a combination of both literary and linguistics the course is a flexible one. Candidates who have passed 10+2 from a recognized board with at least 50% marks are eligible to apply for BA in English Language and Literature. Also, candidates need to score at least 55% marks in English.

Eligibility for BA English and Linguistics?

BA Linguistic eligibility is that the candidate must have completed their Intermediate (10+2) from a recognized board. Many of the colleges and universities conduct their own entrance exams whereas some take students on the basis of marks obtained in 10+2. The average fee for this course lies INR 5,000 to INR 50,000 for the duration of three years.

Eligibility:

1. Candidates who have passed 10+2 from a recognized board with at least 50% marks are eligible to apply for BA in English Language and Literature.

2. Also, candidates need to score at least 55% marks in English.

3. The average annual salary after the completion of the course ranges between INR 2,80,000 to INR 7,00,000 per annum.
