I am servicing in the Indian Army from last 6 years. How can I apply for the post of Sub-Inspector in the Tamil Nadu Police? And, what are the medical test done? Is there any age restriction as well? Any reservation for Army candidates?

Age limit to apply for Sub-Inspector in the Tamil Nadu Police:

Minimum age limit is 20 years and Maximum age limit:

28 years (General Category Candidates)
30 years (OBC Category Candidates)
35 years (SC/ST Category Candidates)
Ex-Servicemen - within 3 years from the date of discharge subject to a maximum of 45 years.

No, Medical test is applicable for ex-personnel of central paramilitary force.
