Age limit(21-30) years. Also,u should be graduate in following streams. Civil Engineering Elect. & telecomm. IES - INDIAN ENGINEERING SERVICE this examination is conducted by UPSC every year for recruitment of Engineers in various Govt. Dept. of India in the following branches of Engineering:-
ELECTRONICS AND TELECOMMUNICATION ELECTRICAL CIVIL MECHANICAL The eligible candidate must be an Indian National, should be a graduate engineer preferably from the above branches within the age group of 21 to 30 years of age which is relaxed for OBC candidate up to 3 years and for SC/ST candidate up to 5 years. ELIGIBILITY: You should complete the Graduation in Engineering from any recognized university. Engineering courses are Mechanical Engineering Civil Engineering Electrical Engineering Electronic and Management Final year pursuing candidates are eligible. Your age limit should be between 21 to 30 years. The upper age relaxation is applicable. 3 years age relaxation for OBC. 5 years age relaxation for SC/ST. 10 years for PH. Both male and female candidates are eligible. But candidate should be indian. No of attempts: 4 attempts required for General candidates. 7 attempts required for the obc. No limit for the sc/st. for giving the IES exam, you need to be having the certain eligibility you should belong to the any of the following branches- electrical engineering mechanical engineering civil engineering electronics and communication engineering you should be an engineer from any of the streams mentioned above, there is no specific percentage required for IES exam and your age should be in between 21-30 years of age. A relaxation of 3 and 5 years is given to the obc and sc/st students respectively.
