NET : National Eligibility Test

UGC NET exam is conducted in twice in a year in the month of June and December for Lectureship and Junior Research Fellowship.

An applicant is eligible for UGC NET only if;

- Applicants must have done his Post Graduation in any stream with minimum 55% (without rounding off) and 50% incase of reserved candidates.

- JRF candidates must be within 30 years of age. A relaxation of 5 years is given to SC/ST/OBC candidates.

- For Assistant professor there is no age limit.

You are eligible for UGC NET exam and while filling an application form if you choose Environmental Science then your subject code will be 89.

Application form for July 2018, UGC NET exam has already started. So here is the details for you:

- Online application form submission begin from : 6th March, 2018

- Last date to apply : 5th April, 2018

- Last date to pay fee along with the application form : 6th April,2018

- Correction of form on the website : 25th April,2018 to 5th May, 2018

- Uploading of Admit Card: 3rd Week of June, 2018

- Date of Examination : 8th July, 2018
