Hi Friend,

Eligibility: The candidates must be Indian citizens.
The age of a candidate must not exceed 28 years as on 01.01.09. However, relaxation can be claimed as per govt. of India rules.

Qualification:

a degree or a post graduate degree in any one of them is required International Business/mass communication/public relations/industrial relations/I.T/journalism is required.
CA/AICWA/ACWA/MBA (finance) is required from a recognized university.
a degree in Agriculture or in Science with diploma in Food Technology from a recognized university is required.
a degree in Civil Engineering is needed.
a degree in mechanical engineering is needed.
a degree in electrical engineering is needed.

Here is the syllabus for FCI Cat III group ACD:

Paper will consists two parts:
150 mins
a) Objective
1: Basic Agriculural concepts 30 questions
2: Reasoning aptitude and DI 45 questions
3:Computer Basics: 30 Questions
4:Current affairs and Indian economy:20
5:ENglish:25 question

b)Subjective
60 mins
1:AGriculture Based problem
2:Any general administrative problem
3:Any technological based problem
Basically essay type questions

Staff Selection Commission conducts the exam of FCI( Food Corporation of India) for the recruitment of post Food Inspector. Union Public Service Commission conducts All India Food Inspector Exam for the recruitment of food inspectors in various offices all over the country.

Required qualification for FCI exam
You must have graduation degree in any branch
You must be in age of 18 to 27 yrears

Age relaxation
Your minimum age should be 18 years.
Your age should not cross above 28 years.

SC/ST + 5 years
OBC + 3 years
PH + 10 years
You must be Indian.

Exam pattern and syllabus for FCI exam

Paper I
General Science ( 50 marks)
Reasoning (50 marks)
Quantitative aptitude (50 marks)
English (50 marks)


Paper II
Quantitative (100 marks)
English and Comprehension (100 marks)

Paper III
Biological Science (200 marks)

FCI Exam Eligibility Criteria:-

For the post of Assistant Grade III in different categories like General, Depot, Account, Technical cadres the Food Corporation of India Exam is conducted by the Staff Selection Committee. Recently a couple of months back the exam took place. The vacancy for the exam was as high as 6545.

Educational Qualification:-

AG-III General:- You need to have a degree in any stream from a recognized university. You should have good computer knowledge.

AG-III Accounts:- You need to do B.Com from a recognized university. You should have computer knowledge for this post.

AG-III Technical:- You should have a B.Sc degree in any one of the following subjects: Botany/Zoology/Bio-Technology/Bio-Chemistry/Microbiology/Food Science/Agriculture.

AG-III Depot:- For this post too you need to have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

Age Criteria:-

For the general category candidates the upper age limit is 27 years. There is however some upper age limit relaxation for other categories. For eg, SC/ST candidates will get an upper age limit of upto 5 years, OBC candidates 3 years and differently abled candidates will get 10 years.

Exam Pattern:-

Paper I:-

• General Intelligence (50 questions)- 50 marks
• General Awareness (50 questions)- 50 marks
• Quantitative Aptitude (50 questions)- 50 marks
• English Language (50 questions)- 50 marks

Paper II:-

• Quantitative Methods (50 questions)-100 marks
• English Language & Comprehension (100 questions)-100 marks

Paper III:-

• Biological Science (200 questions)-200 marks

Please Note:- Visually Handicapped candidates will get 40 minutes extra for the exam.

The acronym for FCI is Food Corporation of India.

FCI examination is conducted by SSC(Staff Selection Commission).

Food Corporation of India was set up under the Food Corporations Act 1964 to implement the following objectives of the National Food Policy:-

* Distribution of foodgrains throughout the country for Public Distribution System.

* Effective price support operations for safeguarding the interests of the farmers.

* Maintaining satisfactory level of operational and buffer stocks of foodgrains to ensure National Food Security.

The eligibility criteria required for FCI Technical examination are prescribed as below:-

* Completion of graduation in science discipline from any recognized college or university.

* Age criteria:- 27 yrs.

* Age relaxation:- 3 yrs for OBC, 5 yrs for SC/ST and 10 yrs for PWD contenders.
