1. Pass graduation in any subject / stream from a regonised institute / university.

2. Age - 21 Years to 30 Years for General candidates, 21 Years to 33 Years
for OBC candidates and 21 Years to 35 Years for SC / ST candidates.

Food Inspector exam is conducted by SSC for Food Corporation of India.

Eligibility Criteria for Food Inspector:

Nationality:

Candidates must be citizen of India.

Educational Qualfication:

Candidates should have a minimum of bachelor degree from recognized university.

Candidates bachelor degree should be from Forestry Engineering/Agriculture Engineering/Animal Husbandry and veterinary science/B.sc in Botany/B.sc in Fishery and Agriculture.

Required percentage:Candidates minimum marks in bachelor degree course should be 60%(50% for SC/ST candidates).

Age limit:

Candidates minimum age should be 21 years and not more then 30 years.

Age relaxation:

3 years for OBC Candidates.

Selection Process:

The selection procedure is based on the written test and physical effective test and interview and apart from first conducted the written test and after qualifying the written test called for remaining tests.

Now coming to written test and this test containing the objective type questions on technical side with science subjects and also this test containing the numerical ability and GK questions and the duration of the exam will be 150 minutes and also there is negative marks for every wrong answers.
