Dear Sir, I've been meaning to ask you that are we eligible to apply and give NET examination while we have completed one year in IBA university course?

You need a postgraduate degree with at least 55% marks from a recognized university to become eligible for UGC NET. You haven't mentioned the qualifications which makes it difficult to give the exact answer. A postgraduate degree course is usually of 2 years duration and you need a degree of 3 years durations to get admission in a PG degree

Hence, make sure you have got graduation (at least 3 years duration) plus Post graduation (2 years duration) if you are looking to apply for NET. There is no other diploma course valid for NET and you must have a PG degree
