Hello Sir, I have completed my 12th with Science stream. But I have secured only 58% marks in it. My aim is to join Indian Navy. So, with this percentage I am eligible to join Indian Navy? Please help me to know about this asap.

Having completed your Class 12th in Science stream with 58% marks you are eligible for following entries in Indian Navy ( as per as you educational qualification ) :-

I) You can join Indian Navy as a Commissioned officer through NDA ( National Defense Academy ) entrance examination. For the same entry, you need to be an unmarried Indian male candidate with your age lying within 16.5 years to 19.5 years.

II) For joining as a sailor, you first need to qualify its recruitment rally followed by Common Entrance Examination. Also, for the same you need to be an unmarried Indian male candidate with your age lying within 17 years to 21 years.

You can apply for NDA exam after securing 58% marks in 12th science.

Being a general candidate you are not eligible to write Indian Navy entrance examination. you must have to score at least 60% marks in Intermediate.
But if you are under reservation category i.e. OBC/SC/ST then you will be eligible to write this entrance examination. Minimum percentage criteria for reserved candidate should be 55% aggregate in Intermediate.
