LLB is three year course. The required eligibility criteria to pursue the course is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university.

The admission procedure varies with institutions. So, you can visit the official website of the institution to get detail information about the admission procedure. There is no upper age limit to pursue the course.

To pursue an LLB (Bachelor of Law) degree course of three years, the minimum education required is a bachelor degree course in any discipline with at least 45% marks in aggregate from a recognized university.

So, having completed B.A. English (Hons.) degree course with 55% marks from IGNOU, you are certainly eligible to pursue LLB degree course as far as the educational requirement for the same degree course is concerned.
