Eligibility for Merchant Navy after 10th?
If i get 55 percent in pcm in class 10 and 60+% in class 12 am i eligible for merchant navy?

Eligibility
Those who have completed their class 10th with atleast 50% and above from a recognised board are eligible Must have normal vision but glasses up to plus or minus 2.5 are allowed for some ranks. Admission is done through an entrance exam followed by a screening test and a main written exam . After they clear the test , they will further go for an interview and a medical test. |

Eligibility for Merchant Navy after 10th:-
A candidate must be a citizen of India to apply for this. A candidate must be unmarried either male or female. A candidate must have passed class 10th with Physics, Chemistry and mathematics. One must have good eye sights, with or without glasses. One must be physically as well as medically fit in all manner . One must have skill of whitening with a team different cultures. |

The candidate should have normal vision, but glasses up to plus or minus 2.5 may be allowed for some ranks. Admission is done through an entrance exam followed by a screening test and a main written examination.

Of course yes. You are certainly eligible to apply for joining Merchant Navy course with the above mentioned criteria. The basic eligibility criteria required is given below, @ Candidates must have completed 10th class with the minimum 40% Mark's. Or else @ Candidiates who have done their 12th class with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects with minimum 60% Mark's are also eligible. @ Hence I can surely say that you are certainly eligible for Merchant Navy. |

There are majorly two profiles through which you can join merchant navy:-
1 Cadet. (after completion of 12th standard) 2.Engineer. (after completion of Engineering course) For joining as a deck cadet, there are several eligibility criteria a candidate must have. 1. 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics as primary subjects with minimum of 60% marks. 2. Your age must not be over 20 years. 3. Eye sight should have 6/6 for each eye. 4. Physical fitness certificate from a certified doctor before joining the course. |

The eligibility for joining merchant navy is finishing class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Candidates have to be unmarried Indian citizens (male or female). Normal vision is required but glasses up to plus or minus 2.5 may be allowed. Admission is through an entrance followed by a screening test and a main written examination. After clearing the test, there is an interview and a medical test. You also need to complete a ship-training course prior to the employment. The course is generally short-term where the candidates are taught basic security concerns of voyaging. |

The eligibility for Merchant Navy is a candidate must have passed 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with a minimum score of 60% aggregate from a recognized board. The minimum age criteria are between 17 to 25 years.
After passing class 10th & 12th exams and finishing a pre-sea Nautical diploma course a candidate can join the company immediately. If you complete your basic bachelor's degree or course in Merchant Navy you can easily find a job through various consultants and placement agencies.
