Re: Eligibility for UGC NET English Literature exam?
The minimum education required for appearing in UGC NET (National Eligibility Test) held by NTA is a Master's degree ( in paper concerned for teaching) with at least 55% marks from a recognised university. Marks relaxation upto 5% is allowed for candidates belonging to reserved category.
So, having completed your Master's degree course i.e; Post graduation with 53% marks and belonging to general category, you are not eligible to apply for UGC NET. For more details regarding the same examination, you can visit its official link www.ntanet.nic.in. |

Re: Eligibility for UGC NET English Literature exam?
Candidates must have secured 55% average marks in Post Graduation to appear in UGC NET.
But you have not gotten 55% marks in Post Graduation. So you are not eligible for UGC NET in English literature. |
