sir am i eligible for ugcnet if do m.sc. in mathmatics in the institute of distance learning programme at gauhati university ?

If you have secured 55% marks in your master degree
then you are surely eligible for this exams......

Hello friend,

Yes definitely you are eligible for UGCNET.

The minimum eligibility for applying NET exam is a graduation degree with at least 55% marks from a recognised university.

As you have done M.Sc in maths you can apply for this exam.

eligibility for the net exam is masters degree from the recognised university with 55% for general category and 50% for reserved

Hello friend,

Yes of course you are eligible to appear in the NET_UGC exam conducted by the UGC.
The minimum eligibility to apply for this exam is to pass Master's degree froem arts subjects and general science subjects from a recognized university.
As you have done M.Sc in maths you are surely eligible to apply for the exam.

Eligibility for UGC NET entrance examination:
You Must have a M.Sc. or equivalent degree with minimum 55% aggregate marks And the final year Students of M.Sc. are also eligible to appear in CSIR NET exams.

Age Eligibility Criteria -
For Junior Research fellowship – You must be between 19 –28 years of age.
For Lectureship – There is no upper age limit. You should be at least 19 years of age.

1. Pass M.Sc. OR equivalent Degree Examination in any subjects from a recognized institute / university.

2. Age Limit For JRF (NET) = Minimum 19 Years and maximum 28 years.

3. Age Limit For LS (NET) = Minimum 19 years

4. Nationality = India

YES YOU ARE ELIGIBLE FOR EXAM


ELIGIBILITY :


Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks in Master’s Degree OR equivalent
examination from universities/institutions recognised by UGC in Humanities and Social
Sciences, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science etc. are eligible for this
Test.

The Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Physically Handicapped (PH)/Visually
Handicapped (VH) category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks (without
rounding off) in Master’s degree or equivalent examination are eligible for this Test.

doesn't matter you have completed your post graduation as regular studies or from distance education centre.
