Dear Friend,
Based on your marks rank will be decided by the Government .

The JEE (Main) will also be an eligibility test for the JEE (Advanced), which the candidate has to take if he/she is aspiring for admission to the undergraduate programmes offered by the IITs.If you want to join in IIT you must have got some good marks (more than 80%)

But as per my knowledge you will get a admission in Engineering Colleges.Dont worry .go through the website ,in versoon they will announce the ranks and the colleges also

HI!
I am sorry to say that after passing 12th with science stream with 42% ,arks you are not eligible for any top college.

You are not eligible for any entrance exam in India.

If you want you can take admission in any low ranking college of your city.
You will not get admission in top college like I.I.Ts, N.I.Ts etc
