English or History, which is better to study in BA Honours?


Hello everyone, I am studying in 12th standard with Humanities stream. I will study BA Honours and interested in English Honours. But my father is telling me to study History Honours. So, I need to know that which one has better scope?

1. The selection of subjects in bachelor's degree should be totally done on candidate's own interest.It must not be done on advice of parents, teachers, friends.

2. If you are interested in English, then you must select English Honors in bachelor's degree.

=> B.A. Hons. English or Bachelor of Arts Honours in English is an undergraduate English language course.

=> The duration of this course is three years.

=> Journalism

=> Museums

=> Home Tuition

=> Art Galleries

Between English and History, History is far better than English.

Because, after doing Graduation in English Hons., there is no scope of job.

But, after doing Graduation in History Hons., there is some scope for job.

You can apply for Arts related jobs.
