UGC-NET Exam will have three papers.Paper I will include questions for all general sections and it will be compulsory for all candidates.Paper II and Paper III will have two sub sections.Details for each sections are as follows :-

Paper I :-

• It will include 60 questions and you have to solve only 50 questions.
• This sections will include questions from general Awareness and Mental ability.

Paper II :-

• It will include 50 Objective type questions.All questions will have multiple choice with answers.
• Total marks for this paper will be 100.
• Questions will be from True/False,Assertion and Reasoning Type.

Paper III :-

• This question paper will have two parts A & B.
• Total number of questions will be 75.
• Part A will include 10 Short answer type questions each of 16 marks and answer should be given in 300 words.
• Part B will include elective questions each of 40 marks and answer should be given in 800 words.
• Total marks for this paper will be 300 marks.
