Which entrance exam to apply for Loco Pilot job in Railways after completion of 12th standard?


Which entrance exam to apply to become loco pilot in Railways after completion of 12th standard? What are the various exams to get prepared? Can you please give me the information on this soon as possible? Awaiting for the response. Thanks.

After 12th, you must do either ITI course in Fitter/Electrician or Diploma course in Electrical/Mechanical.

These courses will make you eligible for applying locopilot posts released by RRB regularly.

Your age must be between 18 to 30 years to apply for these posts.

Firstly, written exam will be conducted and then Personal Interview of qualified candidates.

Vacancies will be posted on RRB official site of different zones.

Hello,

To become loco pilot in railways you need to appear for Entrance exam i.e. Indian Railways Assistant Loco Pilot and Technician Exam. This exam is conducted once a year, by Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) according to the open positions available. Eligibility criteria for this exam are as follows -

>> Age limit 18 to 30 years

>> Grade pay Rs. 5,200 to Rs. 20,000 (GP Rs. 1,900) per month

>> Qualification - 10th with a course completed Act Apprenticeship/ITI approved by NCVT orSCVT in the relevant trade or a diploma in engineering

Exam selection procedure is as follows-

1) Written exam
2) Aptitude Test
3) Verification of original documents

Exam paper pattern -

> The questions will be objective type with multiple choice and would include general awareness, arithmetic, general inteliigence and reasoning, general science and technical ability.
> Question paper are in hindi, english, urdu and local languages.
> Duration of exam 90 minutes with 120 questions.
