I want to study M.Sc Physics from Pune University. I heard that Pune University conducts an entrance examination for this. Can anybody please update me about the entrance details conducted by Pune University for M.Sc Physics.

Yes, Pune university conducts entrance examination for MSc candidates.

This year also it is going to conduct the entrance examination for MSc students.

Tentative dates are released:-

Exam date - 3 June 2019
Application start date - 21 April 2019
Application mode will be online

The passing criteria for the entrance examination is:-
60% marks for general/obc
55% marks for sc/st/ph

30 plus seats will be reserved for NRI/Foreigners/J&K migrants.

Which entrance exam is conducted by Pune University for M.Sc Physics?:-

SavitriBai Phule Pune University or Pune university conducts its own entrance examination of M.Sc.

The examination form is available online for entrance.


You would need to visit the website http://campus.unipune.ac.in to create your login Id and password.
After that, select your department as "Physics" and then proceed further to fill the "Exam Form".


Fill the exam form and then make the payment of Rs.500 as examination fee and then take a print out of the payment receipt and the application form. At the end take the print out of the Hall ticket.
