I would like to do MBA in correspondence. I had written TANCET 2020 examination and received a score card too. Is TANCET useful for MBA distance education? Please provide me further steps that I need to take..

Actually, TANCET exam is conducted by Anna University for admission to ME, M.Tech, MBA, MCA, M.Arch and M.Plan courses in collges affiliated by Anna University. Theirs scores are accpeted in around 400 public and private institutes.

So, if you are looking for distance education for MBA programme, then you need to apply for DEET exam i.e. Distance Education Entrance Test. But in case, if you have already given TANCET exam, then you need not to appear for DEET exam.

TANCET scores will be accepted for admission to MBA distance programmes.

To apply for Distance Education, you need to go through following steps:

• Application form can be obtained from CDE, Anna University through DD of 650 INR in favour of "The Director, Centre for Distance Learning, Anna University", payable at Chennai.
• Then, you need to download application from company's website, and after filling it attach it with DD of 650 INR.
• Then, collect the self attested copies of following certificates/documents.

You have to submit these documents personally to:

Following Documents (xerox copies) will be required along with application form:

• TANCET Score card
• 10th, 12th certificate/marksheet
• Diploma Certificate (if applicable)
• Degree or Provisional Certificate
• Mark Sheets of all UG degree semesters
• Transfer and Character certificate
• AMIE or equivalent certificate
• Experience Certificates (if applicable)
• Photograph Card
• Original DD for Online application
