which field will be better after ssc to become ias and ips-science or commerce ?

I suggest you Science is better than Commerce to become IAS & IPS.
That's because Science will be helpful in IAS and IPS exams. This exam is conducted by UPSC in 2 papers;(1)Preliminary Examination
(2)Main Exam
In this paper Science is more important than Commerce.
There are two papers in this section.
(1)General Studies
(2)Some optional subjects
General Studies paper consists of questions on:
