To clear the PSU test you cannot miss out on preparing in any of the sections. Most of the tests will have questions from Maths, English and General Awareness. The general awareness section will include history, geography, current affairs etc. The questions asked during the personal interview round will include areas like your area of specialization, generic questions like why you would like to take up this job etc. You can refer to the past papers for preparing for the same.
