Food inspector exam uttar pradesh: syllabus and books
sir i would like to know the syllabus for food inspector examination and can you please suggest me books for its preparation.

Hello friend,
The exam for food inspector consisits of two papers. 1. General studies This paper includes the following area of study 1. General Science 2. Current Events of National nad International Importance. 3. History of India. 4. Indian National Movement. 5. Indian Polity and Economy. 6. World Geography and Population. 2. The second paper covers the entire area of food including definations, classification and analysys of all the food products, food compositions, preservatives, etc. You will find many reference books in your nearest book store. You must try to read books written by different authors. you must not prepare from a single book. Its always better to have previous years question papers to practice and to understand the standard of the examination. |

The food inspector exam conducted by Uttarpradesh UPSC is commenced in two stages: 1. Objective-type written test 2. Personality test. the food inspector exam of uttar pradesh consists of two stages. the first stage is a objective type exam based on general studies.it includes almost all the sections.the second stage consists of mains exam and in that you must have a deep knowledge of food like definations,analysis,classifications,food products,etc.for books you can follow booka by G.K. publications. Eligibility: Candidates should be in between 21 to 35 years of age as on 01 July 2010. There is relaxation for the reserved category candidates in age limit as per government rules. Educational Qualification: Minimum educational qualification criteria should be fullfilled by the interested candidates in order to apply for the posts of Food Inspector in the department of Food and Medical Administration. No. of posts: 430 posts (Gen-212, SC-89, ST- 14, OBC-115), Pay Scale: The prescribed salary for the specified post is Rs.9300 - 34800 + Grade Pay of Rs.4200 Thanks |
