dear friend,

it is depends upon you which way you want to go.if you wish to go in management studies then there engineering skills is not necessary.but in case of m.tech you need your basic skills in engineering and fundamentals.

otherwise you can go to design through CEED.or you can take prepration for psu or govt service examinations.

choice is yours.

If you are interested in business go for an MBA (CAT,FMS,GMAT,CET,XAT,and many more entrance exams).
If you are interested in technical activities go for GATE.
There are many other opportunities other than this like IAS,UPSC,IAF, military....etc but you need to decide what you are interested in....

After B.Tech the best possible career is M.Tech because this is a degree which is required in every career you can go after graduation.

Whether in industry or in the academics you need to have an M.Tech degree these days.

doing M.Tech or MBA is preferable.....
More salary is offered depending on the institute in which you have studied..

In India the highest salary is offered for MBA students from IIM's......

i dont think why are you not interested in doing m.tech or MBA.where both are having bright future for you ok if you are not interested for doing these two coureses then you have options like
IAS,
IPS,
INDIAN AMRMY,
AIR FORCE,
NAVY,
and other upsc exams.and you can also go for jobs on the basis of your b.tech degree, for that you should log on to the site
