Both the courses Chartered Accountancy and Cost and Management Accounting or ICWAI are Finance related course

which deals with managing the accounts or Finance of Company/organization.

Both Chartered Accountant and Cost and Management Accountant have thorough knowledge of handling the finance department

of any company or organization and can manage the Balance sheet of any company or organization efficiently.

But there is a difference in Chartered Accountancy and Cost and Management Accounting or ICWAI.

Chartered Accountancy course is more focus on the auditing and taxation.

An Chartered Accountant can also deals with companies taxation issues and can keep the tax obligation of any company as less as possible.

whereas Cost and Management Accounting or ICWAI is professional who is thorough in Cost Accounting.

So, Cost and Management Accountant can focus on keeping the cost of production of any organization as less as possible.
