Re: Is it good to take SSC jobs if already placed in government electrical job?
If you have done professional studies like B.tech/ B.E or other technical course then i will suggest you to continue your job in electrical field and gain more experience which will help you in getting more reputed job in future.
SSC jobs are majorly non technical jobs , but many time professional based , so this can be considered if you are not satisfied/ interested in technical jobs. |

Yes you are eligible to go for SSC. There is no any restriction to stay in only one job.
Eligibility criteria to write SSC exam are given below:- Candidate must be a holder of Intermediate degree from a recognized university in any discipline. Candidate must have scored at least 60 percent in their Intermediate. Candidate age should be 18 years to 28 years. |

It is not advisable to leave job in government sector and get into new field. You are already placed in Navratna Companies. You should continue your job without any doubt.
Switching job will create difficulty and you have to again start from point zero. |

Re: Is it good to take SSC jobs if already placed in government electrical job?
It depends on how much is the paysacale and security in the post.
It does not depends on how much experience you have collected. The thing matters is which job you give you higher salary and services. Whether the posting place is satisfactory or not. However if you are already in a good paying job, it will be a bit risky in your sense. But after retaining in the job for more duration, the grade pay and salary will raise and will be profitable. SSC jobs are good on Graduation levels. Intermediate level jobs from SC have low payscale. So, you can surely go for it. |

If you have already placed in government electrical jobs like Transco, Genco, etc.,. there is no need to worry to get SSC job. But, if you want to get SSC job, you can try it by participating in the recruitment process like appearing in the examination and attending interview. If you get a SSC job then, you can choose the best job else, you can continue with your Government Electrical

The final decision to change job depends upon you. But if you are placed in core company then you should not change your job. However if you find better job stability in Staff Selection Commission and is according to your convenience then you can change your job.
You are already placed in good navratna company. |

Re: Is it good to take SSC jobs if already placed in government electrical job?
Whether the person continue to work in TANSCO and GENCO like companies or to shift into Staff Selection Commission basically depends upon your interests and achievements. So that person is required to first analyse himself/herself what are the skills that he/she has and what are his/her interests.
If that person is really interested to work in Core sector, then I suggest him/her to continue with working in Transco and Genco navaratna companies only. On the other hand, if he/she is interested to work in CBEC, CBET ...etc., departments then I would suggest the person to shift into SSC. As per my knowledge is doing job in SSC based jobs rather than in Navaratna companies. |
