Sir/Madam, I am Anand Kumar, recently completed 10+2 (MPC). Now my question is which group is to be selected in Degree to join in Indian Army? Which engineering or non-engineering graduate degree courses are best and helpful to get into Army easily?

You can join Indian Army after degree in any discipline.

Candidates can appear and qualify in CDS examination for final selection as an officer.

The eligibility to appear in the examination is that candidate pursuing or have passed the bachelor degree from a recognised university.

Examination is conducted in two stages for final selection.

Those who want to join Indian Army, who can completed their graduation in any discipline.

After completion of graduation, they will have to prepare for CDS(Combined Defense Services) exam.

After qualifying CDS exam, they can join Indian Army.

For joining Indian Army, candidates should be a minimum passed Degree Examination for Indian Military Academy, but in Indian Naval academy, candidates should be, B.E/ B.Tech engineering degree.

Therefore, after completing your degree you appear Combined Defence Services. The minimum age limit is 20 to 24 years
