Is Graduation compulsory to do B.Ed course?


Hi, could anybody please confirm me whether Graduation is compulsory for doing B.Ed course or not? Can't I do B.Ed immediately after qualifying the 12th Board exams?

Yes, of course graduation is mandatory to be eligible for B.Ed course.
B.Ed stands for Bachelor of Education Eligibility criteria for this course:-
You must have done bachelor's degree from a recognised University. Final year graduation candidates can also apply for this course.
Minimum percentage of marks required is 50% .You will have to purse graduation for this course.

B.Ed stands for Bachelor of Education degree course and the minimum education required to B.Ed. 2 years course is a graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.

But, one can opt for integrated B.Ed. course of four years such as BA B.Ed., B.Sc. B.Ed courses if one is interested in these courses after their Class 12th.

No, you are not eligible to get admission in the B.Ed course on the basis of std 12th.

B.Ed is Bachelor in Education. It is two year course from a recognised university.

The eligibility to get admission in the course is that candidate must have passed bachelor or master degree with minimum 50% aggregate.

So, you have to pursue the bachelor degree to become eligible to get admission in the B.Ed course.
