Re: Which higher studies course to do after Diploma in Ceramic Technology?
Dear sandesh,
You can do B.Tech after diploma but for that you have to secure 60% in diploma then through lateral entry you can take admission in 3rd semester, after that you can do M.Tech and P.hd REGARDS **Amritansu** |

Re: Which higher studies course to do after Diploma in Ceramic Technology?
Better Enroll for B.Tech/BE in Ceramic Technology.
Nothing would be better then that. Since presently you are working it would be difficult for you to Enroll for Regular program in B.Tech/BE so you can go for Distance or Coresspondance mode. Better opt for IGNOU or PTU. In India I dont think any other institute except them would be better for Working Entrepreneur to persue Bachelor Degree. Dont worry for working professionals B.Tech/BE through distance is a good option specially for those who are working after there diploma engineering. After completing your B.Tech your job prospect would sure get better. Re: Which higher studies course to do after Diploma in Ceramic Technology?
Dear friend,
Wherever you are working,at first complete your B.tech in ceramic technology. It will surely give an extra edge to your career. As you are working right now,you can do B.Tech in distance learning mode or correspondence course. There are many universities that offer B.tech in distance learning mode, like ICFAI university. After doing B.Tech you will be able to give better response to your job. Good luck! |

In India Ceremic Technology is not so promissing as it is. As compared to Ceremic Technologist Leather & Footware Enginering is better had has good scope in India. And if we talk of Core Subjetcs like- Mechanical, Civil, Electrical etc. they are always being best options and also in decade next will remain best option in engineering. |

Re: Which higher studies course to do after Diploma in Ceramic Technology?
dear friends
After diploma if you have a job then i will suggest you to do the correspondence course in b.tech while doing the job. but if you are not doing the job then in that case i will suggest you do the b.tech with the regular course of the b.tech and then after the b.tech you go for the job. |

1) You can simply opt for B.E./B.Tech with specialisation in Mechanical, Aeronautical, Aerospace, Instrumentation, etc. engineering. For this you have to go niether through 'Lateral Entry Scheme' (in this scheme you will be provided admission to 2nd year of B.E./B.Tech) or through 'Engineering Entrance exams like- IITJEE, AIEEE, WBJEE etc. By going through engineering entrance exam you have to study whole 4 years right from first semester. 2) Second option is to opt for AMIE. You can apply for a 'senior technician membership of AMIE' if you have Diploma Engineering degree + working under corporate member or a person qualified to be a corporate member. This course is considered equivalent to B.Tech and is excptable by all authorities even GATE. AMIE official site: http://www.ieindia.info |
