My question is that after completing the course of Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering can I opt for BE in Computer Engineering? Would it be beneficial for me?

If you want to get admission through lateral entry then you are not eligible to chage the stream in the b.tech course.

You are eligible to get admission through lateral entry only in electronics and telecommunication course.

You cannot go for the B.E in Computer Engineering through lateral entry.

B.E is four year course but candidates passed diploma course are eligible to get admission in 2nd year of the course but only in the stream in which, you have completed the diploma course.
