If your interested to apply for CPT Examination then you may download the application form from the Official website of www.icai.org . You may pay Rs:- 600 along the application form . The Important Notification for CPT Examination may official website of CPT Examination .

CPT :- Common Proficiency Test . The Examination is conducted by four times in a year during the month of February / May / August / and November .

CPT Examination is divided into :- Paper pencil based mode / Online registration mode

Eligibility criteria for CPT Examination :-

You should be qualified in 12th board Examination or Equivalent Examination from recognized university .

Syllabus for CPT Examination :-

-Fundamentals of Accounting
-Mercantile Law
-General Economics
-Quantitative Aptitude

In CPT Examination there is an Negative Marking is include , So for each wrong answers .25 marks may be deducted from the total marks . So that you must take while answering the question .

If you want to crack the examination with good percentage of marks then go through the previous year question and Go through the syllabus well , and For Fundamentals for Accounting as well as General Economic you may refer the 12th board Examination . So that you may get good percentage of marks in CPT Examination .

The score card in valid for alidity is 5 years .

C.P.T. - Common Proficiency Test.

This examination is going to be held in the comming June and till now the notification did not published. Most probably the notification will come in the Newspapers in the month of February or March.

Fees Structure :

The cost the application voucher is Rs. 1,000/- (for GEN). For S.C. / S.T., O.B.C., P.H. candidates Rs. 300/- re-lactation is there.

CPT i.e. Common Proficiency Test

Common Proficiency Test is an entrance Exam which is organized by Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) for aspirants who wants to get Admission into CA{Chartered Accounted} course.


-The CPT is conducted twice a year generally in the month of JUNE and December.



Eligibility Criteria For CPT:
---------------------------

• You should have completed 10th or 12th form recognized central/state board or school.
  
• There is no restriction on percentage.
  
• There is no restriction in no. of attempts.

Application Procedure for CA-CPT Exam
----------------------------------------

Well, you can apply for CPT in two ways:-

1. Online
   
2. Offline

In Online mode, you can apply for CPT by using ICAI official website: http://icaiexam.icai.org You can submit application fee by using Challan form generated during online process.

-Fee through this mode i.e. through challan : Rs. 500/-


In Offline mode, you can apply for CPT by using physical Application form available on any branch of ICAI at a cost of decided fee.

-Cost of this Application Form : Rs. 600/-





Important Dates for CPT Exam 2012:

For June CPT

• Date of Notification: January 4, 2012
  
• Last date for Registration: April 4, 2012
  
• Date of commencement of Exam: 3 June 2012

For December CPT

• Date of Notification: July2012

Pattern of CPT EXam:

CPT exam accomplished in two sessions-


I- Session

Section A- Fundamentals of Accounting of 60 marks
Section B- Mercantile Laws of 40 marks

Total marks: 100, Tome: 2 hours

II- Session

Section c -General Economics of 50 marks
Section D -Quantitative Aptitude of 50 marks

Total marks: 100, Time: 2 hours

i have registered for cpt exam offline then can i go for online exam? plz tell me that till what date exam form can be submitted for cpt online exam to be conducted in june2012 & august 2012 respectively ?
